Most of the province averages about 15°C a year, with January at 3°C–6°C and July at 22°C–25°C. The brochure also lists approximate flight and high-speed rail times to major Chinese cities, which helps you plan trips in and out of the province.

It says Guiyang and other major cities offer dishes from across China and abroad, that food delivery platforms cover the whole province, and that supermarkets stock imported goods.

For cultural life, the brochure lists the China International Big Data Industry Expo, intangible cultural heritage workshops, and rural sports leagues known as "Village BA" and "Village Super League." It also says Guiyang hosts coffee festivals and that free outdoor concerts are held in city centers.

What to confirm directly with your university

The brochure does not list tuition, scholarship amounts, or application deadlines. Check these with your university before you plan your application:

  1. Tuition and other fees for your program.
  2. Scholarship types, amounts, and eligibility.
  3. The application deadline for your intake.
  4. The full list of required documents.
  5. Chinese language requirements, including whether HSK is required and at what level.

For the latest information on each item, check the official website of the university's International Education College or International Exchange Office. Those notices take priority over any general figure in a provincial brochure.

The brochure's institution table includes 33 entries. Its overview says 42 institutions in Guizhou are qualified to enroll international students. Read the table as the brochure's own list, and confirm any institution's details with that institution directly.
