studyinchina.help is an independent reference site for international students preparing to study at a university in mainland China. It covers the procedural side of studying in China: which body you apply to for a scholarship, which student visa fits your programme, and what you are legally required to do after you arrive.

How pages are written

• Every rule on a page is taken from an official source — a Chinese government portal, a law or regulation published by the National Immigration Administration, a Chinese embassy's visa guidance, or a university's own notice.
• Each guide lists the pages it relied on and the date they were checked.
• Where the official source is silent, the guide says so instead of guessing.

What this site does not do

• It does not submit, process or handle any application, and it does not promise any scholarship, admission or visa outcome.
• It does not rank or recommend universities.
• It is not affiliated with the China Scholarship Council, Campus China, the National Immigration Administration, any embassy or any university.

When rules change

Scholarship notices are reissued every year and immigration rules are revised. If a page here disagrees with the current official source, the official source is right. Each guide shows the date its sources were checked.
